Stoneridge Estate weddings in New Zealand are all about "old worlde' character harmonizing with the surrounding majestic alpine terrain. Located just 15 minutes from New Zealand's most exclusive vacation resort, Queenstown, Stoneridge Estate offers a unique and historical Queenstown wedding venue and luxury accommodation venue in a romantic and tranquil setting.
Wedding ceremonies can be held on the lawn area outside the Hayes Room overlooking the property or inside the Hayes Room in front of the fireplace if the weather makes it unsuitable to hold the ceremony outdoors. The breathtaking views of Lake Hayes and the Southern Alp's mountain range beyond from both inside Stoneridge Lodge and the surrounding grounds make for a multitude of superb photographic opportunities. Constructed of local schist rock and all recycled materials, including Welsh slate and timbers, Stoneridge Lodge is unique in both its architectural design and history.
Stoneridge Lodge also offers a stunning purpose built function and event venue perfect for an intimate dinner for two, a small celebration with friends and family or a larger wedding reception. Please ask us for more details.

Stoneridge Estate Wedding Package Inclusions:
The following Wedding Package is priced for a couple with no guests and includes all of the basic requirements to get married at Stoneridge Lodge in Queenstown, New Zealand.
- Arrangement of your New Zealand Marriage License including application fee. We will file the application for your New Zealand Marriage License on your behalf prior to your arrival to New Zealand.
- Pre-wedding consultation in Queenstown including assistance to uplift your New Zealand Marriage License. New Zealand law requires that at least one of you be present to sign a declaration at a registered marriage office prior to your wedding so it is very important that you arrange your itinerary to allow time on a week day prior to your wedding day to do this.
- Two nights accommodation in the Honeymoon Cottage at Stoneridge Estate.
- Arrangement of your wedding ceremony at Stoneridge Lodge. Wedding ceremonies can be held on the lawn area outside the Hayes Room overlooking the property or inside the Hayes Room in front of the fireplace. Please note that only non-exclusive use is included. Please ask us for more information if you would like exclusive use of the property.
- Arrangement of and fee for a New Zealand Civil Marriage Celebrant to officiate at your wedding ceremony. Your celebrant will contact you by email to put together your personalized wedding ceremony and will meet with you at Stoneridge Lodge prior to your wedding to rehearse the ceremony with you.
- Arrangement of a Standard New Zealand Marriage Certificate including application fee and courier of this to you at home. After your wedding you will need a formal document to confirm the details and legal validity of your marriage for presentation in your home country. In most cases you will be able to use your copy of the Particulars of Marriage Form that you sign on your wedding day for this purpose plus we will also order a Standard New Zealand Marriage Certificate for you which bear’s the official stamp of the New Zealand Registrar of Marriages and is issued approximately 4-6 weeks after your wedding. This is accepted as proof of marriage in most countries. If you are from Austria, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, The Netherlands and some other countries your Marriage Certificate will require further verification, please let us know if you are from one of these countries so we can advise you of any additional fees and make the necessary arrangements on your behalf.
- Our basic wedding coordination fee. This includes your own personal wedding planner to communicate with you and make all the necessary wedding arrangements on your behalf. A Wedding Company Representative will also be present on the day to assist you and to ensure that everything runs smoothly.
