Kaiteriteri Beach Weddings New Zealand
Beach weddings in New Zealand are very popular and can provide an amazing location for your New Zealand wedding experience. Kaiteriteri is the gateway to the Abel Tasman National Park and with its unspoilt golden sand beaches, blue skies and crystal clear waters this area offers some of the most spectacular locations for beach weddings in New Zealand.
Little Kaiteriteri Beach & Breaker Bay. Although not strictly in Abel Tasman National Park – both of these beaches are sheltered coves just around the corner (in either direction) from Kaiteriteri beach township and the main Kaiteriteri beach, with wonderfully clear water, golden sand and amazing views over Tasman Bay. Even in the height of summer both beaches are surprisingly quiet and virtually deserted the rest of the year.
Marahau Beach. Marahau is the Maori name given to the village and the long sweeping beach which translates to “Windy Garden” in English. The Bay is known as Sandy Bay and is quite aptly named as it is the longest golden sand beach in the region. The backdrop consists of charming rural farms, forestry and lush native bush. Due to the fact that Marahau beach can be very exposed we recommend taking advantage of calmer early morning and evening conditions for weddings.

The following Wedding Package is priced for a couple with no guests.
- Arrangement of your New Zealand Marriage License including application fee.
- Arrangement of your wedding ceremony at Little Kaiteriteri Beach, Breaker Bay or Marahau Beach.
- Arrangement of and fee for a New Zealand Civil Marriage Celebrant to officiate at your wedding ceremony.
- Arrangement of two witnesses (if required).
- A simple posy style bouquet of seasonal flowers and matching buttonhole.
- Photography Package: Up to 1.5 hours coverage on your wedding day. You will receive a CD/DVD of no less than 72 high resolution images.
- Arrangement of a Standard New Zealand Marriage Certificate including application fee and courier of this to you at home.
- Our basic wedding coordination fee.
