The Coromandel Peninsula lies east of Auckland and has some of the finest beaches in New Zealand offering sandy bays, crashing surf and rock strewn shorelines shaded by huge knarled Pohutakawa trees decked in their scarlet blossoms during December.

Some of our favorite beaches for weddings in the Coromandel are outlined below:
Cathedral Cove: A sandy beach with Pohutukawa trees lining the foreshore. The “Cathedral” is a gigantic arched cavern that passes through a white rock headland to join the two secluded beaches and gives an air of grandeur to the whole of the beach. The beach is very popular year round and we do not recommend weddings on weekends during our summer months of December through to March and at any time during the month of January unless you are happy to be surrounded by crowds of people. Cathedral Cove is accessible only by foot via a steep walking track or by boat.
Lonely Bay: Situated on Cooks Coast, Lonely Bay is a totally unspoilt small bay fringed with bush and Pohutukawa Trees. Cut off by cliffs and isolated from other beaches it can only be reached via a steep walking track. This is our recommended beach wedding location in the area as it is relatively easy to access and apart from weekends in the busy summer season it is as the name suggests a quiet and deserted beach.
Coromandel Beach Wedding Package
This Wedding Package is designed for couple's residing outside New Zealand who require full planning, coordination and support in arranging the basic requirements for a legal wedding in New Zealand. It is priced for couples with no guests but can be adapted to accommodate a small number of guests if required. Available for mid-week weddings Monday to Friday and Sunday's only. Additional A-La-Carte Wedding Services are available and can be added to this Wedding Package.

PRICE: NZD$2375.00
For weddings at Cathedral Cove you must also choose one of the following transport options:
- Shuttle Bus/Walkway: NZD$280.00 for up to 6 people then NZD$15.50 per person
- Water Taxi: from NZD$350.00 for up to 8 people + as the water taxi option is weather dependent the shuttle bus option must also be booked as a back-up and a non-refundable deposit of NZD$85.00 applies. If the water taxi is cancelled because of the weather the cost of the water taxi is refundable and transferable to the shuttle bus option.
