The Charlotte Jane is a grand Victorian mansion built in 1891 set in beautiful gardens only minutes away from Christchurch City. It was magnificently restored and opened as a premier guest lodge in 1995 being named after one of the first ships to bring early settlers to New Zealand.
Elegant and luxurious, this superbly restored Victorian home offers a perfect wedding venue for small intimate weddings. Ceremonies can be held in their beautiful gardens or inside the Victorian Conservatory beside the restaurant or in the tastefully decorated State Room inside the main house.
Each of the 8 accommodation rooms at the Charlotte Jane are individually decorated with fine furnishings in keeping with the grandeur of the house with the feature being their gorgeous honeymoon suite complete with huge mahogany four-poster bed. The Restaurant at the Charlotte Jane offers the finest of New Zealand food and wines.
