Abel Tasman is New Zealand’s smallest National Park and is renowned for it’s mild climate, beautiful golden sandy beaches, sculptured granite cliffs and the world famous Abel Tasman Coastal Track. It offers some of the best sailing in New Zealand and some of the most beautiful, secluded inlets, coves and bays for beach weddings in New Zealand. Say your "I do's" on one of the many golden sand beaches with the vast blue sea and sun twinkling behind you, sand between your toes and the sea gently lapping at the shore.

Our summer is the best time to plan for your beach wedding in New Zealand. December and January are busier with tourists than other times and these months also coincide with local school holidays but are still suitable for weddings away from the main crowds. The weather really starts to stabilize in February and March and these months bring hot, sunny, balmy days and the beaches become a lot quieter. The weather in November and April - either side of our ‘official’ summer – can still be excellent and often you will be some of the only people in the park.
